My role in the project was Motion Graphic Designer. My responsibilities were to give directions of motion graphics under the approval of the Art Director, and to execute them (VFX & SFX) as well.
The Context
Eucerin is a skincare brand, famous for its ability of moisturizing skin to treat/prevent skin irritations (acne, itchy, dry, rough skin, etc.)
One of the biggest obstacles I encountered while doing this project was, the client only provided us with 2D files of the products. We faced significant challenges as there were no 3D materials available...
The Process
Eventually, we came up with 2 solutions as follows.
First, is to turn the obstacles into advantages. We showcase the product and embrace its appealing look, by adding in some effects of zooming and motion moves.
Second, is to showcase its benefits on the skin, for customers to have a closer look if they use the product. We also highlighted them by adding text effects, different angles of cameras and lighting.
In addition, we also had the opportunity to partner with other campaigns from Eucerin. These outputs highlighted our inhouse cooperation with my co-workers.
